Short Bio
Amelia grew up in Maryland as an advocate for clean waters with the Chesapeake Bay Foundation. She joined the climate movement at the University of Maryland, taking advantage of D.C. environmental internships and movement building opportunities, as well as the amazing friends and connections made at the 2018 Udall Orientation. After getting a Master of Environmental Public Policy, Amelia moved to Canada to live with her family and work for the federal government, where she has worked in strategic low-carbon energy policy and international environmental affairs on the U.S. team.
Hobbies and Interests
Bike touring with friends, sailing, hiking by the ocean, veggie dogs at beach bonfires, exploring new cities, hosting dinner parties, showing new friends around Nova Scotia, karaoke nights, D.C. spring!
